Carla Rees Fashion Designer

It was Carla’s individuality and drive to find a place where she could express herself, that drew her to London from Wales in 2005. She ventured to the east so as to immerse herself in the limitless art and fashion scene and surround herself with other like-minded creatives.

Carla’s craft has developed from her obsession with materials and patterns. She likes to juxtapose the traditional crafts of upholstery and needlepoint with a modern messaging twist, adding an element of surprise to her creations.

Carla has gained hands on experience by working for Gareth Pugh’s studio, where she assisted with his Paris Fashion Week collection; however she finds that she is her most prolific when creating things that make her happy and she is following her own design rules.
