Nathaniel takes the craft of knitting to another dimension. He likes to challenge the perceptions of knitwear in society and is pioneering its revival and reinvention.

Experimenting with new techniques and unconventional materials, such as ceramics, Nathaniel creates original and contemporary patterns and textures. His designs originate from the complex muscular skeletal structure of the human body and these creations morph from conceptual pieces into shop window displays and unique clothing collections.

Each piece has a personal story woven through it and is influenced by Nathaniel’s two most inspirational figures; his mother and grandmother. Both women indulge in their ardent curiosities with people and human nature.

Nathaniel loves the creative collaboration opportunities prevalent in East London. He also thrives on the occasional countryside escapes, which enable him to re-align his creative eye, quelling his constant urge for fresh inspiration.
