If you take a stroll around Shepards Bush way you’ll stumble across Goldhawk Road, a high street like none other in London. A Post Office here, a trendy wine bar there and a cacophony of yummy mummy filled café’s. But delve a little deeper and you’ll find something a little out of the ordinary.
Born from the very streets from which they are named, Goldhawks spin tales of blue-collar romanticism and life in the slow lanes of suburbia. Not that it comes across in their music. It’s as grandiose and epic as their spiritual Born-To-Run father.
With a pair of excellent, well received singles already under their belts, this summer see’s the release of their debut album ‘Trick Of Light’ and a succession of festival dates including Glastonbury, Ibiza Rocks, Bestival and the NME headliner.
