Norman Cook DJ/Producer
Norman Cook, also know as, Fatboy Slim, is an English DJ, a record producer, a musician, a father, a husband and pioneer of electronic dance music. Basically he’s a British Institution and rightly so.
At the tender age of 18, Norman, began his flourishing DJ career as DJ Quentox, The OX that Rocks. Putting on a Hip Hop youth club in his beloved Brighton, Cook set in motion the essential Brighton Hip Hop scene that is still as reverent today as it’s ever been.
From there, Cook has gone on to be one of the most prolific artists of his generation. From forming guitar band, The Housemartins in 1985 to Pizzaman, a House project with Tim Jeffery and JC Reid, in 1995. Or releasing four multi-platinum albums under FatBoy Slim and playing in-front of a quarter of a million at his second, Big Beach Boutique, an open air concert on Brighton Beach. Cook continuously creates and crafts music and production that seems likely to never diminish.
