The Sunshine Underground band
Back in 2007, after the release of their outstanding debut album, Raise The Alarm, Sunshine Underground embarked on the now in-famous NME Nu-Rave tour with Klaxons, CSS and New Young Pony Club. It set the standard for all NME tours and has become perhaps the defining NME tour of our generation. Since then, the Leeds four-piece have enjoyed a breathtaking three years that has seen them support LCD Soundsystem, tour the UK extensively, play a multitude of festivals including Glasto and a headline set at T in the Park and, at the turn of 2010, sign to EMI. The signing has coincided with the release of their second full length album, Nobody’s Coming To Save You, from which Coming To Save You, We’ve Always Been Your Friends and Spell It Out have been released as singles to widespread critical acclaim.
